The Congressional Football Game hosted its annual Recruitment Reception, Tuesday, May 18, 2021. Held annually, the Recruitment Reception marks the beginning of the CFG giving season. We are fundraising for the Capitol Police Memorial Fund, @OurMilitaryKids, and Advantage 4 Kids.
Thirty-four members of Congress attended our hybrid event, which included Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, Majority Whip Jim Clyburn – along with CFG Co-Captains Rep. Rodney Davis & Rep. Jimmy Panetta, and CFG Coaches and NFL Legends Ken Harvey and John Booty.
Yogananda D. Pittman Acting Capitol Chief of Police, Hall of Fame Linebacker and Super Bowl Champion Mike Singletary and the NFL’s first female coach Dr. Jennifer Welter was also in attendance.
